Terra Aventura is a game which combines enjoying a walk and discovering the region’s heritage and nature gems: a mix of culture and sports for adventurers of all ages!
Géocaching : 4 tracks in Haute-Saintonge !
The quests lead you to a treasure. To reach your goal, you must answer a series of riddles on your way. The treasure contains Poï’z : tiny fun collectible characters (badges). These imaginary creatures each represent a quest theme: Zéfaim for the « food » theme, Zouti for “Crafts”, Zilex, for “Prehistory”, Zéroïk for the “Middle Ages” theme…
There are now over 400 fun quests to discover in New Aquitaine’s 8 « departments » : Creuse, Corrèze, Haute-Vienne, Charente, Charente-Maritime, Deux-Sèvres, Lot-et-Garonne, Dordogne. Their distances vary from 3 to 14 kms.
Terra Aventura is free and several in english !
Each quest is classified according to its level of difficulty (terrain and riddles). Several are particularly adapted to families with small children (pram and bicycle-friendly).
Terra Aventura, based on geocaching, is a 100% free activity, available 365 days a year.
In order to play, just download the app on your smartphone via Google Play/App Store (English version available) or use a GPS and download the roadbooks on the Terra Aventura website.
