At the Jonzac-Neulles aerodrome, the 66 hot-air balloons take to the skies, 46 of which will be competing in the 22nd European Hot-air Balloon Cup and the 27th Ladies' World Cup, plus 20 in the Fiesta section for public first flights.

While you wait for take-off, from 10am you can discover the many activities organised all year round at the Jonzac-Neulles aerodrome by the Jonzac aeroclub in Haute-Saintonge and the wonderful world of aeronautics.
Several workshops will be set up in the aeroclub hangar:
- four flight simulators
- a stand from the Rochefort naval air museum, with the 'nose' of a super standard and its ejector seat,
- a model aircraft stand,
- a presentation of the Sonex, an amateur-built metal microlight,
- a presentation on the history of cement bombs during the war,
- a BIA (Brevet d'initiation à l'aéronautique) and flying school stand,
- a ULM Super Guépard.
Visitors will also be able to discover an exhibition by the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Foundation, dedicated to the famous writer and aviator, as well as films, including one on Claudie Haigneré, France's first female astronaut.
Seventeen aerobatic and air patrol aircraft will be on display, including the Mark Jefferies air display, Pionner team, Turbulent team, Chippy wing, Stark and Stampe.
Finally, the club's three aircraft will also be available for 'discovery' flights.
Open to all and free of charge
Programme: evening entertainment and presentation, briefing on the event, preparation for take-off, competition take-off and 'Fiesta' flights.
Times may be subject to change due to weather conditions.
