Les Fontaines Bleues - Park and Garden of the Castle of Beaulon

Classified site - a walk, a stroll through the 13 hectares of the park, the Blue Garden and its perfumes. The legendary "Fontaines Bleues" (Blue Fountains), the dovecote from 1740 with 1500 nests swept by its revolving ladder. A venerable three hundred year old oak tree marks the path that leads to the heart of the undergrowth, to the mysterious "Blue Fountains", natural springs whose deep, calm and serene waters have a strange and magical dark blue colour. From meander to meander with the complicity of birdsong, you will walk along dreaming of the legends they gave rise to in the distant past. - Classified site and remarkable garden - On returning from this most romantic of walks, you will be able to see the dovecote from 1740 with its 1500 nests (also called cells or boulins) swept by its revolving ladder. To punctuate your visit, you will be welcomed in a lounge of the castle where you can taste exceptional cognac and pineau.
