More details
The School of Arts is part of the cultural policy of the Community of Communes of Haute-Saintonge.
In keeping with the times, in a search for a balance between the transmission of a heritage and contemporary creation drawing on emerging cultures, the Haute-Saintonge School of the Arts wishes to create the conditions to keep its students constantly motivated in their learning, practice, development of their artistic creativity and the achievement of their autonomy by favouring, in particular, the regular hosting, on a short or long term basis, of professional artists/creators.
Viola, double bass, violin, flute, clarinet, cello, oboe, saxophone, piano, trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba, drums, percussion, harp, classical, bass and electric guitar, diatonic and chromatic accordion, synthesizer, modern music, classical or variety singing, classical, contemporary, traditional or tap dance, oriental dance, modern jazz dance, theatre, music education and orchestras, all disciplines offered and supervised by a team of qualified and competent teachers who will welcome you with pleasure and enthusiasm.
Thanks to the different formulas offered by the School of Arts, discovering, learning and sharing an artistic universe is within everyone's reach.
Children, teenagers or adults, musicians, singers or dancers, in classical or free learning, the School of Arts is open to all existing musical trends.
With weekly classes, classes on request, with or without musical training (solfeggio), with or without an exam, the desire to cater for everyone is one of the major concerns of the École des Arts.
The early-learning classes and musical gardens present in the Haute-Saintonge area make it possible to welcome and initiate children from the age of 4 in both Music and Dance...
As one of the fundamental axes, collective practice is at the centre of the musical education of the School of Arts.
