More details
Start from the beach car park south of Lake Baron-Desqueyroux.
Go west along the car park, over the bridge to the right and after 100m turn left into the forest path and left again before the house.
Cross the dyke, cross the road and take the escape route which passes behind the restaurant and the Rock School, then walk along the stadium.
At the road turn left, then take the path to the left, and after the hut, a fire road, always to the left.
At the crossroads with the tarmac road, turn right for about 700m and then left.
At the level crossing "des 5 chênes" go along the railway for 1.2km and turn left to get back to the lake.
To discover:
Hydrophytic plants are plants with submerged buds.
These plants can have various characteristics, and there are three categories: those that float freely on the surface of the water,
those that are rooted in the sediment with floating leaves and those that are rooted and whose leaves remain underwater. The white water lily, also known as the water lily, is present in the Baron-Desqueyroux lake.
Its leaves are very useful for batrachians and dragonflies to rest...
