From the Archiac campsite, follow a grassy path (rue de la Font Ginier) up to the town hall. Take the direction of St-Eugène.
Turn right onto the Chemin des Coutures. At a crossroads of 4 paths, go up towards the St-Eugène woods. Pass the town hall and the church. Follow the main road to a calvary.
Turn right opposite the cemetery on the path that climbs the wooded hillside. At the farm of chez Billet, cross the road and keep the same direction on a small road.
Opposite the houses of chez Taulé, follow the dirt track to the right, 500m. Then turn left onto a road, after 500m it veers to the right before the Riveron wood and reaches the Archiac post office car park. Cross the car park and turn left onto the main road.
Follow the road for 400m and then turn left onto a path that overlooks Arthenac and the surrounding area. Go down along the church, turn right and then left, crossing the D149.
At the intersection with the D699 road, follow the latter for about 30 metres, then turn right onto a track that climbs up through the vineyards.
At the intersection with the D150E1, continue on a small road opposite for 250m. and turn right towards Archiac, about 1km from the starting point.
