More details

Turn left towards Arthenac, rue de Riveron.
At Riveron, at the exit of Archiac, turn left on a path (of tiles and earth) which goes down towards the vineyards. At the end, turn right and 50m further on, turn left.
Be careful, there is a grassy descent for 100m at the end of the path into the village of Arthenac: get off the bike.

When you arrive at the place de la Salle des fêtes, behind the church, follow the road. At the intersection, turn left, then left again after the Mairie (opposite the school, rue du Presbytère). Continue for 800m until you reach Taulé.
Bis: not marked, without the slope.

Go to the right, past the church and then turn right into rue des Récollets until you reach the Place de la Mairie.
Go down rue Catherine d'Archiac, then right towards Baignes.
Take the first road on the right after the shrubbery, just before number 17.
After 400m, go straight on at the intersection. After another 400m, you will come to the marker for the normal route, turn left.

At Taulé, turn right on the white road to the D251 crossroads. Then turn left, leaving the road in front of you.

At the stop sign, turn right onto the D152 (towards St-Eugène) and follow it for 700m. At the crossroads, turn left onto the D251 (towards St-Eugène).

Leave the cemetery on the right and go up by the left on the D251E4 to arrive at the foot of the church of St-Eugène.
Continue on the road uphill to reach the hill of Archiac.

I dominate the landscape from the top of the hill, octagonal in shape, open by bays framed by columns, I follow the ..........

Come and admire the panorama that I have been overlooking for over 800 years!

Go around me, and with your nose raised, look for the little devil crouching down ready to do one of his pendulous tricks.
