More details
Follow the town hall on the left along a small road.
Some 100m after the place called "La Vallade", turn left onto the D149.
At the bend in the road at Chez Denis, turn opposite to return to Tornier.
Pass under the bridge on the left and then walk 500m and turn right onto a white track which enters the woods.
At the intersection, turn right onto a road that descends slightly.
After the bridge, follow the road straight ahead for 200m.
Turn right at Claveau's to enter Champagnac.
It is said that the Seugne river gave birth to a dragon, which flew out of its bed and shaped its hills and valleys. The earth remembers its first sleep in the hot spring, Soenna, which was named after the river. Dragon of water, fire and stone, it is in the latter that his image remains on the capitals and modillions, sculpted in the time of the knights.
