Turn right towards Montendre, pass over the Livenne (river) and immediately left towards Rapion (locality).
At the D145, turn right, drive for 300m and then turn right onto a forest track.
At the end of this track, turn right onto the D145-E8 until you come back to Corignac and cross the Livenne again, then left and immediately right onto a small road towards the Grand Potet, which you follow for 1.8km straight on, before taking the Landes de Haute-Saintonge path on the left.
Follow the Landes path to Biraud for 1.9km, then cross the Livenne and the village of Trignac.
500m further on, take the forest track on the left, follow it for 800m before joining the D145-E8 which you follow on the left to return to the starting point.
There are two freely accessible discovery trails starting from Bussac-Forêt or Corignac that will guide explorers to the heart of the mysterious Landes de Haute-Saintonge!
This preserved and primitive place is home to a remarkable biodiversity that is unique in Poitou-Charentes.
