Castle of Montendre

Overlooking the town there are 2 mediaeval towers, remains of Montendre castle and from where the view over the town and its surroundings is wondreful. On the hill overlooking the town, surrounded by a pleasant park with tree-lined paths and a 2000 seat open-air theatre stand the 2 remaining towers of Montendre castle.
