These days devoted exclusively to mills are essential for demonstrating the importance of this heritage in the economic, human and technological history of the continent. These days also serve to promote the potential that mills represent for the future.
On 18 and 19 May 2024, owners of public or private mills and cultural and heritage associations are encouraged to open their sites to the general public.
As in previous years, conferences, exhibitions, events and the production of local products will be organised,
and the production of products made from the millstone. The opening up of former millstone extraction sites remains an excellent initiative.
