Presentation of the group Mystère Guinche :
Mystère Guinche is a Guinguette cover band from Bordeaux, Aquitaine - Gironde.
Mystère Guinche is the direct successor to Mystère Daoud. They are the same musicians, but the choice was made to refocus the repertoire and artistic project of Mystère Daoud, which has been around since 2007, on what has made them such a hit with the public: dance parties, intergenerational festivities and a sense of sharing.
Festive and colourful, Mystère Guinche express themselves in a Chanson Française style, with a touch of Guinguette Chic, featuring well-known songs from the 50s to the present day.
Made up entirely of professional musicians, the band can evolve from two to six musicians: vocals/guitar, bass, drums, accordion, saxophone, vocals/electric guitar for a more rock sound, and produce its famous Grand Bal.
The repertoire of this neo-guinguette group from Bordeaux ranges from traditional French chanson compositions to covers of popular tunes by Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Bobby Lapointe, Renaud and Serge Gainsbourg, as well as Les Rita Mistouko, La Mano Negra, Noir Désir and many others, which you can discover below by clicking on the "see the group's repertoire" button.
